Marietta Cellars Wine Lunch

On Saturday, June 10th guests joined us for our Bistronomy June Wine Lunch in partnership with Marietta Cellars, a small second-generation family-run winery in California. They harvest their grapes from their three vineyards, Geyserville, McDowell, and Yorkville. These delicious wines were provided by local partner, Aleph Wines, and the three selected by our General Manager and sommelier, Nick Thompson were the Nadi Riesling, Game Trail Cabernet, and Old Vine Rose.

The delicious three-course menu created by our culinary team began with smoked salmon puffs, a choux-style pastry filled with salmon rillettes and Boursin cheese garnished with a light frisee salad paired with the Riesling. Moving into the second course our guests indulged in a fabulous duck l’orange served with confit potatoes, rice pilaf, spring peas, and orange gastric. This dish was paired with the Game Trail Cab. Finally, dessert was a play on a peach tarte tatin served with house-made peach sorbet and paired with the rose. The perfect late Spring lunch! We look forward to hosting more wine events in the future. Join our event email list to receive booking information.
