1 Year of Laura!!

On June 1st, 2022 Nico Romo opened the doors of his third concept under the Nico Romo Hospitality Group umbrella. Laura, an Italian concept inspired by his grandmother, Laura. While Laura was raised in France, she was born in Arpino, Italy, and grew up spending her summers there. Chef Nico enjoyed her cooking throughout his childhood and brings that inspiration to the menu at Laura.

The town of Summerville has welcomed Laura with open arms into their tight-knit community, and the whole team couldn’t be more grateful. In addition to the amazing residents of Summerville, we have been humbled by the number of loyal NICO and Bistronomy regulars that have driven from all over the Charleston area to visit Laura.

Throughout our first year there have been growing pains, menu changes, and some tough nights, but largely consisted of wonderful customers, amazing staff, participating in local events, hosting wine dinners, and so much GOOD! We hope you will stay on this amazing ride with us into year 2!
