Carolina Oysters + Cocktails Oyster Class

On February 25th we hosted 24 guests on our beautiful back patio for our February oyster class! During this class, we featured all North and South Carolina oysters with guest, Julie Davis from Lady’s Island Oyster Inc. Julie led the class alongside our very own, head shucker, Isabella Macbeth (Holy City Oyster Maven). Bella and Julie walked our guests through the growing process of oysters in the Southeast, discussed the Virginica oyster species, and helped differentiate the subtle flavor profiles of the 6 different oyster varieties served. In addition to the delicious oysters, we served three delicious cocktails in partnership with High Wire Distilling Co. Alexander with High Wire joined us to discuss their distilling processes and use of local ingredients.
