Alsace Wine Dinner~NICO

On February 15th we welcomed guests in for our February Wine dinner which highlighted the Alsace region. We love being able to highlight different areas in France, French wines, and of course, French cooking with our monthly wine dinners. It gives us a chance to enjoy a more intimate meal with a small number of guests, features family style seating to encourage conversation, and allows for more creativity and fun for our amazing kitchen staff. It is a true pleasure to be able to host these events monthly!

Alsace Menu

Our guests began with a delcious tartiflette. Roasted potatoes were blanketed with melted raclette cheese and accented by savory lardons, aromatic onions, and spinach. Moving into the second course, we served tender riesling poached chicken. You may be more familiar with Coq au Vin, which utilizes red wine, as opposed to the Coq au Riesling, featuring white wine. Finally, we finished with a delicious Baba au Rhum, generously soaked and served with chantilly cream and berries.
